This Sunday, April 29, will have another session of the "Café com Ciência" at the Fundação de Serralves. The theme of this edition is "Where are mammals? The mammalian Atlas of Portugal and its applications".

The objective of the event is to present the Atlas of distribution of Portugal's mammals to the public, explain how and for what it was constituted, how can it be improved and what are its various applications. This way, the community becomes aware of a useful instrument for the entire population and can also assist in its development.

The Café com Ciência, in its fourth edition of 2018, is a relaxed conversation with a biology specialist in an informal space. This activity intends to generate greater dissemination of scientific knowledge, through a more informal contact with professionals of the area. In this edition, the guest is Márcia Barbosa, Invited Assistant Researcher at CIBIO (Center for Biodiversity Research), graduated in Biology from Universidade do Porto and with a PhD in Biological Sciences from Universidade de Málaga.

The debate takes place in the Sala de Multiusos (Quinta de Serralves), at 11:00 a.m., lasting one hour. The entrance is free, limited only to the capacity of the room. No doubt, a great program to start your Sunday!
