As Lusorquídeas itself (Portuguese Orchid Association) affirms, this is an event marked by delicacy, refinement, precision and sharing of knowledge. In a space of 4450m2 dedicated solely to this kind of flower, the event will take place on 16th, 17th and 18th March at Exponor, allowing appreciation and even buying species that are considered rare.
With about 50,000 species scattered throughout the world, Orchids are symbol of delicacy and refinement since the Victorian era and in some societies, the flower was used for medicinal and mystical purposes.
Among the most common species are Oncidium that has delicate petals with shades ranging from pink to brown, the Phalaenopsis that has shape and unique color, and the orchid Vanda - owner of a natural glow, can be found in different colors like purple and yellow.
