In May will happen another edition of the program "Há vida no parque!" developed by the Fundação de Serralves, this time having as its main theme the insects.

Under the command of the researcher José Manuel Grosso-Silva, it will be possible to understand a little better the vastness of the insects existing in Serralves, their particularities and, also, what their functions are in global terms but also in the urban environment, highlighting the best forms to foster the existence of these species, which contribute greatly to the development of the ecosystem.

The goal of "Há vida no parque!" is to provide knowledge of the biodiversity of Serralves, through talks, lectures, workshops and pathways in the park. The researcher present in each issue shares his stories and discoveries related to nature, thus allowing a greater connection with the public.

The event takes place on 05/20, starting at 11:30, with a duration of 1 hour. The meeting point is Quinta de Serralves, and the capacity is 25 people. The cost per adult is 5 euros, and teenagers between 13 and 18 years old have a 50% discount. Children under 12 are free. For more information it is recommended to access the foundation's website.
